Report: Kings' Jalen McDaniels traded to Spurs, will be waived

The Sacramento Kings freed up a roster spot Monday by trading forward Jalen McDaniels and a second-round draft pick to the San Antonio Spurs, ESPN reported.
The return to Sacramento was not yet known. The Spurs plan to waive McDaniels, the report said.
McDaniels, 26, was traded to Sacramento in June in a deal that sent Davion Mitchell, Sasha Vezenkov, Jamal Shead and a 2025 draft
