Reports: Joc Pederson, Rangers reach 2-year deal

Free-agent outfielder Joc Pederson and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a two-year deal, multiple outlets reported Monday.

ESPN said the contract, pending a physical, is worth $37 million and includes a player opt-out after the first year.

Texas will be the sixth team for Pederson, 32.

He spent the 2024 season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, serving as their designated hitter, a
