Penguins F Rickard Rakell (hand) out 6-8 weeks

Pittsburgh Penguins top-line forward Rickard Rakell is expected to be sidelined six-to-eight weeks after undergoing surgery on his left hand.

Rakell's surgery was performed at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He sustained the injury during the third period of Pittsburgh's 5-4 shootout loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets after taking a shot off the back of his hand.
