Malaysia, Singapore to launch special economic zone to woo investors

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: In a rare collaborative move, Malaysia and Singapore have signed an agreement to establish a special economic zone aimed at attracting global investment and enhancing cross-border trade and movement.

The Johor-Singapore special economic zone, located in Malaysia's southernmost Johor state, is designed to leverage the strengths of both nations. It will offer tax incentives and focus on key
