U.S. dollar little changed

NEW YORK, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was almost flat in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, gained 0.01 percent to 108.060 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).

In late New York trading, the euro was down to 1.0418 U.S. dollars from 1.0421 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound lost to 1.2328 dollars from 1.2337 dollars in the previo
