Ports in Texas limit activity amid cold weather

HOUSTON, Texas: Port Freeport announced this week that it expects limited ship activity, while Port Houston said all its public facilities will stay closed through Wednesday due to winter storm Enzo hitting Texas.

The rare storm brought heavy snow, ice, and strong winds to the U.S. Gulf Coast on January 21, a region where snow is uncommon. Much of the U.S. is also dealing with extremely cold weather.
