Bangladesh hikes fuel prices to adjust with int'l market

DHAKA, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Bangladeshi interim government hiked the fuel prices with effect from Saturday adjusting the same with the global market.

According to a price notification from the country's Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday night, a liter of octane now costs 126 taka, one taka higher than the previous rate.
