Bangladesh's July-January remittances reach nearly 16 bln USD

DHAKA, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Remittances from millions of non-resident Bangladeshis in July-January period of the current fiscal year (FY) 2024-2025 totaled nearly 16 billion U.S. dollars, the latest central bank data showed.

According to the data, the inflow of remittances from Bangladeshis increased by about 24 percent year on year to 15.96 billion dollars in July-January of FY year 2024-25 (July 2024-June 2025).
