1 dead, 2 injured in U.S. Minnesota shooting

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and two others injured in a shooting early Saturday in the city of Minneapolis, U.S. state of Minnesota, local authorities said.

Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara said that officers heard bursts of automatic gunfire around 2:30 a.m. local time in Dinkytown, a commercial district in Minneapolis.

According to O'Hara, one person died at the scene, whi
