Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and controversies go hand in hand. In her 18-year-long acting career, the actress has had very ugly spats and fallout with people. One of the prominent feuds of the actress has been with Simrandirector Hansal Mehta. Hansal and Kangana collaborated for the very first time for the 2017 film Simran. Not only did the movie miserably tank at the box office, but Hansal and Kangana's relationship also went kaput. Hansal stated that the Queen actress wanted the film to be about herself, which was absolutely wrong. Now, in a recent interview, the director has opened up about what exactly went wrong between him and Kangana and even extended an olive branch to the actress.
Hansal Mehta reveals what exactly went wrong with Kangana Ranaut
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Hansal Mehta stated that it's not that Kangana Ranaut and he had any massive fallout during the shoot of Bollywood film Simran. The director stated it was just a clash of opinions as Kangana wanted to make a different film and he had a completely different vision for the same film. He mentioned that although they never had verbal spats, the environment on the sets of Simran was not very healthy due to their difference of opinion and approach.
Hansal also stated that he regrets during the whole Simran fiasco he had a fallout with writer Apurva Asrani, with whom he has worked a lot. Hansal admitted that during the release of Simran, he was also dealing with certain financial pressures due to which he wasn't able to handle things in the correct way.

Hansal said that he wishes Kangana all the best and hopes that whenever he meets her, he will give her a hug and greet her with a lot of love and respect. In the same interview, he also hailed Kangana as one of the best performers of the entertainment industry and stated that it's a privilege to see her acting on screen.
