'Jaya Bachchan looks like Kangana Ranaut', react netizens to veteran actress' old interview on maar dhaar movies in Bollywood
Jaya Bachchan has always been known for being open and vocal about her views since her early days in the film industry. Whether it's about her career, family, or life in general, she has never shied away from speaking her mind. Recently, a throwback interview of the actress from 1983 resurfaced on social media, sparking discussions among fans. The interview, which was conducted by BBC Asian Magazine, featured both Jaya and her husband, Amitabh Bachchan.
In the interview, Jaya Bachchan talked about the kind of films she used to do and how they were different from action-packed movies. She said, "Yeh maar dhaar waali picturey zada banti nahi thi," laughing as she looked at Amitabh Bachchan, who was sitting next to her. This comment referred to how action films weren't made as frequently during that time, and she hinted that this might have affected their work choices.
The interviewer also asked Jaya if her family responsibilities were the reason she hadn't returned to acting. With a smile, the Guddi actress responded, "Teen bacche sambhalne padte hain (I have to take care of three kids)." Amitabh then humorously added that their two children, Shweta and Abhishek, were two of them, while he was the third.
Entertainment News fans quickly pointed out how Jaya's straightforwardness reminded them of Kangana Ranaut, who is also known for being outspoken. Many were surprised by the comparison, as both actresses have a reputation for not holding back when expressing their views. Even though you look wise, they think you, Jaya, resemble the Queen actress.
In the comments, one fan wrote, "Mujhe isme kangana kyu nazar aa rahi hain." Another Instagram user commented, "Omg she is looking and sounding like Kangana." One more suprised netizen posted, "is she resembling Kangana? Anyone thinks that because I think she is."
