Two Monaghan men jailed for demanding €100k from man whose son owed money to 'dangerous people'

Sergeant Donal O’Connell, prosecuting, said it was the understanding of gardaí that the victim’s son had previously been recruited to collect cash raised from a money laundering operation on behalf of a criminal organisation
