Aviation minister promises probe into allegations of abrupt air fare hike

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Thursday promised to conduct an inquiry into allegations of abrupt fare hike when MPs try to book tickets on Air Vistara airline, following complaints by MPs and a nudge by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Hindustan Media Ventures Q1 results: Profit tanks over 91% to Rs 0.52 cr

Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd (HMVL) on Thursday reported a 91.82 per cent decline in its profit after tax of Rs 0.52 crore for the first quarter of 2024-25. The company had posted a profit after tax of Rs 6.36 crore in the April-June period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by HMVL, the publisher of Hindi daily Hindustan. Clear guidelines needed for approving China's FDI plans: NITI Aayog VC

India needs a 'clearer set' of guidelines for approving Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) from China expeditiously as the system of case-by-case review is slow, NITI Aayog vice chairman Suman Bery has said.
