Newgen Software Technologies Q2 results: PAT rises 47.2% to Rs 70.3 cr

Newgen Software Technologies on Tuesday reported a 47.19 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 70.33 crore in the September quarter. It had posted a net profit of Rs 47.78 crore in the year-ago period. Domestic air passenger traffic rises 6% to 13 million in September

Domestic carriers flew 1.30 crore passengers in September, which is 6.38 per cent higher compared to the year-ago period, according to official data released on Tuesday. Jaguar Land Rover on Tuesday said its retail sales rose 36 per cent year-on-year to 3,214 units for the first six months of the current fiscal. Cotton exports likely to double to 2.85 mn bales in 2023-24 season: CAI

Cotton exports are expected to almost double to 28.50 lakh bales in the 2023-24 season against 15.50 lakh bales in the previous crop year 2022-23, as the average prices of Indian cotton were cheaper in the world market, Cotton Association of India (CAI) said on Tuesday. "Indian cotton was ruling at a much cheaper rate during February-March compared to the global market.
