No impediment in appointment of 7 MLCs: Maharashtra govt tells HC

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday told the Bombay High Court that there was no impediment in the appointment of seven MLCs for the 12 vacant posts in the state legislative council. SC issues notice to UP govt on Somnath Bharti's plea over hospital remarks
