"My dad and my grandfather were members of the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and ran guns from Canada to the US to Ireland during the '70s. Grandpa would drive to Canada with the kids where gun laws were lax, buy a load of guns, put them in the trunk, and drive back over the border. They would end up on Irish fishing boats. They are both deceased. The FBI came to our house once because they could not translate the Gaelic they spoke on the wire-tapped phone."
