TOM McCready and Stefan Edwards confirmed their retirements following Sunday’s final game of the season against Barry Town United.
Bay skipper Macca the Bay in 2018 after initially coming on loan from AFC Fylde.
Sunday’s game was his 166th appearance for the club and he scored 49, his last goal coming against Haverfordwest earlier in April.
Tom was clearly emotional when he was substituted late in the game, receiving a standing ovation from supporters.
The 32-year-old said he had been pondering retirement for a while and felt it was the right time to call it a day.
“I’ve had a good go, I’ve had a good time and I’ll always be a Bay supporter,” Macca said.
“Last year was special obviously, winning the league and giving the fans something to cheer about
“I’m gutted to go out the way that we did but I think it epitomises Colwyn Bay – we gave it everything at all times.
“I was a proud man walking off at the end and proud of the six years or so I’ve been here.”
Stef joined the club in January 2022 and was one of Steve Evans’ first signings as manager.
The 34-year-old made his 300th Cymru Premier league appearance during the current campaign.
His stunning late equaliser against Llandudno in the opening game of our 2022/23 Cymru North season will live long in the memory.
“Obviously I haven’t been as long here as Macca but the time I’ve spent here has been fantastic,” Stef said.
“I just want to thank every one of you for your support.
“I gave my all every time I put the shirt on and I want to wish you all the best going forward.”

Tom and Stef’s retirements come at the end a season in which has seen Neil Coverley stepping down as Chairman, a role which he had held since 2021.
