On February 19-21 2025, 26 2-person stick person teams hit the ice at the Callie Curling Club in Regina, SK for the 2025 2-person Stick Curling Provincials.

This event had 2 divisions an open division with 22 teams and a women’s division with 4 teams. The open division was a round robin format with 4 pools of 5 teams. After round robin play, here were how the pools looked:
The womens division was as followed:
The top 3 teams in each pool in the open division made the playoff round. In the semi-finals team Sutherland/Piett fell to team Searle/McMahon 6-3. In the other semi-final, team Sherwood/Desnoyers booked their spot in the final by defeating team Haubrich/Flichel 8-1. Team Searle/McMahon stayed on top as they defeated Team Haubrich/Flichel 5-1 in the event final.
In the women’s division, team Swiderski/Bibby defeated team Belay/Wick 9-3 in the semi-final and faced a strong team Ford/Michel in the final. After a close final game, team Swiderski/Bibby claimed the provincial title in a 5-4 win!
Congratulations to Team Searle/McMahon and Team Swiderski/Bibby on winning the 2025 2-Person Stick Provincial Championships! They will represent Saskatchewan at the 2025 Canadian Stick Curling Championship on April 2-7, 2025 in Grande Prairie, AB
