Yellow weather alert: Tuesday thunderstorms in mountains

A yellow weather warning has been issued for thunderstorms in the mountains on Tuesday, the Met Office said.

The warning will be in effect from midday until 4 pm. According to the Met Office, there will be isolated storms in the mountains and some inland areas. Rainfall is expected to be 35-55 mm per hour, and there is a chance of hail.
