Wellness event brings worlds of business and health together
With big international names and top-level speakers from the business, health and wellness industry, an innovative event later this month will revolutionise what wellbeing means. Masterclasses, conferences, talks and a gala experience will add to the inspiring event. Mark your calendars for October 24 and 25 for the Future of Wellness.
The event will be split into two locations – the Minthis Resort in Paphos where masterclasses and the gala experience will take place on day one and The Warehouse by ITQuarter in Limassol where the conference and music event will happen. Alongside the main programme, a rich agenda of sidebar events, networking and socialising opportunities will allow guests to integrate themselves more into the event’s mission.
Top-tier speakers have been booked to take part in the event such as Teemu Arina, the founder and curator of the Biohacker Summit (Europe’s top conference for optimising human performance) and co-founder of Biohacker Center (an independent think tank researching peak performance, health and wellbeing), Tony Jamous, CEO of Oyster, a NASDAQ-listed $1 billion company.
More longevity authors, neuroscientists, business leaders and global wellness thought leaders from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia will participate, touching on the topic of wellbeing intelligence. Wanting to showcase Cyprus as more than just a sunny beach destination, the conference welcomes a local and international audience and aims to promote the country as an ideal place for both wellbeing and business, being the nexus between north and south, east and west.
“In collaboration with Dan Buettner, who co-produced the three-time Emmy Award-winning documentary TV mini-series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones (2023),” say organisers, “the Future of Wellness Group is working on having Cyprus designated as another Blue Zone.”
When asked to elaborate on linking business leadership to mindfulness and wellness, Future of Wellness Group CEO Alena Shaidulina said: “For me, live communication has always been very important. One meeting with an inspiring person can leave a much stronger impression than reading all of their books. That’s why I strive to organise in-person events to provide this live communication and motivation. By bringing together experts from around the world, I aim to foster meaningful connections and highlight the value of holistic wellbeing in today’s fast-paced world”.
Apart from exclusive speakers, such as Medical Advisor at PaltaAndrew Belaveshkin, neuroscientist Anastasiya Lahutsina, CEO at JCDecaux Lithuania Žaneta Fomova, and many more, one of the things that stands out at the event is the exclusive gala dinner, which will be prepared by a chef specialising in molecular gastronomy. The dinner guests will also get to enjoy an art exhibition curated by SYNCLERY.
The two-day October event will serve as a lead-up to a series of events in February, which will include a much larger summit taking place on February 4 at ParkLane Resort in Limassol, and a public event at the University of Nicosia on the 5th.
