Magnitude 3.5 earthquake rattles San Bernardino area
Two minor earthquakes struck the San Bernardino area on Monday, Feb. 10, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
At 9:44 a.m., a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded 3 miles northeast of San Bernardino, followed by a 3.0 earthquake at the same location at 9:48 a.m.
People who reported the larger earthquake said they felt it in locations including Victorville, Temecula, Los Angeles and Indio.
Earthquakes of this magnitude typically cause at most minor damage.
