Reviewing the campaign information and the debates for the U.S. Senate, I’ve been focused on which candidate will effectively use a Senate seat to utilize their technical and political knowledge to improve the lives of all Californians and the prospects of younger Americans. In that regard, Katie Porter stands out as the best candidate.
Porter has actively striven to investigate and hold corporate malfeasance to account as prices skyrocket. She has endeavored to push back against Washington inaction as American families struggle with bills and the impacts of climate change. She also has a direct understanding of the difficulties facing middle-class families.
The other candidates don’t fit the moment as well. Adam Schiff is a dedicated statesman but seems separated from younger voters’ concerns. Barbara Lee has been a passionate advocate but missed her moment. Steve Garvey seems entirely lost on policy matters.
Katie Porter for a better Senate.

Residents shouldsupport Tabard Theatre
Keep the arts alive; it is what gives us hope and nurtures our spirit when all around us seems heavy with despair.
Tabard Theatre has lifted us up with music, acting, poetry and dance year after year through COVID and tragedies too numerous to list. Now, they are without a “home.” I call on our city leaders to support them and help them establish a permanent place in San Jose.
For Black History month, they put on a show of extremely talented local musicians. We danced, we sang and we felt the sincere words of our Santa Clara County poet laureate Tshaka Campbell. The Tabard had to borrow the pavilion at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, and for New Years they hosted a fabulous cabaret show at The Stage.
Help find them a home and continue to support their efforts to bring joy to our communities. Go see a show; you will feel uplifted — guaranteed.

For democracy’s sake,support Joe Biden
We’re facing our own “Fort Sumpter” in the 2024 election with the possibility of a national and domestic security threat occupying the White House. He has spelled out exactly what he’d do and it is chilling. Yet this paper is still publishing “equivalence” and “Biden-step-aside” articles. We’ve underestimated his threat every time.
We must close ranks around our president in defense of democracy. Not just Democrats, but responsible media and citizens as well. The White House must be protected from what New York Times columnist David French calls a “corrupt and confused 77-year-old who is facing trial on dozens of felony counts in four separate criminal cases and has recently been found liable for sexual abuse and defamation.”
Model viewer forensics reveal that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's Dancing Lion boss is actually two little guys piloting it around
'Maybe this new Stardew Valley-like game is pretty good' I said to myself after blearily noticing I'd played it until 2 in the morning

There is an early power up in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree that basically turns the game into Sekiro, but the description is so vague I didn't realize how good it was until 40 hours later
