The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth over Rs 150 crore linked to former West Bengal food minister Jyoti Priya Mallick and two others in a PDS ration "scam" money laundering case. The attached assets comprise 48 immovable properties, including Mallick's house in Salt Lake and Bolpur, as well as "benami properties" held by associates.
Gautam Adani-led Adani group, which owns Ambuja Cements and ACC Ltd, is targeting to capture around one-fifth of the Indian cement market by FY28.
