While presenting the Union Budget 2024-25 on Tuesday, Sitharaman said: “We have formulated a package covering financing, regulatory changes and technology support for MSMEs to help them grow and also compete globally.”
In her 7th Union Budget on Tuesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced shrimp farming support via NABARD. Apex Frozen Foods surged 8.2% to Rs 271.95 on NSE; Avanti Feeds, Waterbase also rose. Apex exports Vannamei shrimp to developed markets. Waterbase uses advanced technologies; Avanti focuses on seafood products. All shares rose on the announcement.
