In 'Land of Women', Longoria plays Gala, a New Yorker whose life undergoes a dramatic upheaval when her husband fails to repay a debt to dangerous adversaries. Gala is compelled to escape the city with her mother Julia and daughter Kate seeking refuge in Julia's ancestral hometown in northern Spain.
