After violent protests erupted in Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina arrived in India, a video of Dhruv Rathee praising Bangladesh sparked controversy. The video was shared by BJP leader Shehzad Poonawala. However, Rathee explained the video was four years ago. More than 100 people died in the violence, and Hasina's residence was looted as she fled the country.
