Tata Power Company plans to acquire a 40 per cent stake in Khorlochhu Hydro Power Limited for Rs 830 crore to develop the 600 MW Khorlochhu Hydropower Project in Bhutan with an investment of Rs 6,900 crore, aiming to accelerate its clean energy transition; the acquisition will be done in tranches over six months as per a Share Purchase Agreement with current shareholders.
