ISRO is expected to launch the EOS-8 satellite on August 15, using the SSLV-D3 from Sriharikota. The mission introduced a microsatellite and new technologies for future satellites. EOS-8 includes EOIR, GNSS-R, and SiC UV Dosimeter payloads for environmental observation, disaster monitoring, and other applications. The satellite is expected to operate for one year.
