Vinesh Phogat made history as the first Indian woman wrestler to reach an Olympic final by defeating Cuba's Yusneylis Guzman Lopez 5-0 in the women's 50kg semifinals at the Paris Olympics. This win guarantees her at least a silver medal. Phogat, who led 1-0 after the first period, dominated the second period with four additional points. In the final, Phogat will compete against Sarah Hildebrandt from the USA on August 7.
