The Supreme Court took notice of the Kolkata rape and murder case of a trainee doctor from RG Kar Hospital. Led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, the court questioned the case's handling and ordered the CBI to report its progress. A national task force will be formed to improve doctors' safety nationwide.
