Former Union finance minister Yashwant Sinha is considering launching a new political party, potentially named Atal Vichar Manch (AVM), before the Jharkhand assembly elections. Sinha discussed the proposal in a meeting with supporters in Hazaribag. The new party will aim to offer an alternative for Jharkhand's electorate. Sinha, a former cabinet minister under Atal Bihari Vajpayee, seeks to consult various sections of society before finalising the decision.
