The Central Water Commission reports an increase of 126 per cent in current water storage levels compared to last year, with reservoirs holding 144.333 billion cubic metres as of August 29. The Northern region shows a decline, while the Eastern, Western, Central, and Southern regions report improvements. Various river basins also show better-than-normal storage levels.
