Opposition members of the parliamentary committee on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. They protested against alleged unilateral decisions by panel chairman and BJP MP Jagdambika Pal. The Speaker heard their concerns and assured them of a decision. Opposition MPs submitted a memorandum detailing their grievances.
