Bharti Telecom Ltd (BTL), the primary promoter of Bharti Airtel, has upped its stake in the telecom giant to 40.33%. This increase resulted from a 1.2% share acquisition from another Airtel promoter group, Indian Continent Investment Ltd (ICIL), in an off-market transaction valued at approximately Rs 10,924 crore. This deal further solidifies BTL's position as the largest shareholder in Airtel.
