The research observed distinct emotional patterns in participants exposed to emotionally charged videos. The findings, published in IEEE Access, suggest that integrating skin conductance with other physiological signals like heart rate and brain activity could revolutionise emotion detection and enable empathetic technologies, addressing the shortcomings of traditional facial and speech analysis methods.
