Israel's defense minister confirmed the assassination of Hamas' top leader, Ismail Haniyeh, last summer and has threatened similar action against the Houthi leadership in Yemen. The Houthis have been involved in missile attacks on Israel. Israel has conducted airstrikes in Yemen and plans to increase pressure on the rebel group until the attacks stop.
