A three-year-old girl fell into a 150-foot-deep borewell in Kotputli-Behror district, Rajasthan. After a 10-day rescue operation, she was brought out in an unconscious state and declared dead at the hospital. The rescuers faced difficulties due to sedimentary rock. The girl's family had accused the administration of negligence during the rescue efforts.
