Navy divers are flying in from Visakhapatnam to assist in the rescue of nine labourers trapped in a flooded coal mine in Assam’s Dima Hasao district. The water level within the quarry has reached nearly 100 feet. Emergency personnel from the Army, Assam Rifles, NDRF, and SDRF are actively involved in rescue efforts.
