As the market once again witnesses a correction, there is bound to be anxiety on the street. As an investor, all you can do is apply more filters before investing, especially in mid-cap stocks. Now, how to do that? Suppose you have to choose between two stocks from, say, the real estate sector. In one, the narrative is that the company is set to launch new projects. The second is part of an industrial group known for corporate governance and dividend payouts, but has not been aggressive in terms of growth. It would be better to go with the second one, because, even though growth is slower, the balance sheet is of a better quality. So, apply more filters, and this phase of correction too will pass.
