The Indo-Tibetan Border Police moved 33 out of its 56 border posts along the India-China LAC forward and deployed six new battalions to enhance operational capabilities. The force plans to address deficiencies in technology-based surveillance and improve weaponry, with funds earmarked for infrastructure development at the LAC.
