The Environment Ministry has approved proposals to establish multiple Formation Ammunition Storage Facilities (FASF) near the Sino-China border in Eastern Ladakh to enhance operational readiness and reduce ammunition withdrawal times. Additionally, permissions are granted for underground caverns and more permanent built-up facilities in the region.
