The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced that the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season will start on March 23. During the BCCI Special General Meeting, Rajeev Shukla also revealed the appointment of a new IPL commissioner and confirmed Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia as the new secretary and treasurer respectively.
