The two largest wildfires raging across the Los Angeles area have left at least 16 people dead, with 11 confirmed fatalities in the Eaton fire and another 5 in the Palisades fire. Firefighters are struggling to contain the blazes, which continue to threaten homes and critical infrastructure.
