Reliance Jio, with support from the Indian Army, has extended high-speed 4G and 5G internet services to the Siachen glacier. This collaboration involved deploying pre-configured equipment at a forward post in extreme conditions. This ensures connectivity at an altitude of 16,000 feet, enhancing communication for soldiers in the harsh region.
