After many days of correction, both at the level of the Nifty and market breadth, the mid-cap segment saw some respite on Monday. But in the very next trading session, it was again reeling under pressure. That mid-cap stocks will come under selling pressure during the periodic corrections in the market is a given. But, over the long term, and if chosen correctly, mid-cap stocks deliver better returns. Investing in mid-cap stocks, however, requires a balanced approach.
