The DRDO has successfully tested a scramjet combustor, advancing India’s hypersonic missile capabilities. The test conducted by DRDL marked a crucial milestone, showcasing successful ignition and stable combustion. This technology enables missiles to travel at speeds beyond Mach 5, evading existing air defences. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the team for this significant achievement.
