The BJP dominated Uttarakhand's urban local body elections, winning 10 out of 11 mayoral seats. An Independent candidate secured the remaining seat. Congress failed to win any mayoral seats. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the winners and urged them to expedite development. Uttarakhand BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt called the victory a preview of future assembly election success.
