Delhi recorded its warmest Republic Day in eight years with a maximum temperature of 23.7 degrees Celsius, above the average. Clear skies and northwesterly winds contributed to the unusual warmth according to IMD. However, night temperatures dipped slightly. A fresh western disturbance is expected to raise temperatures and affect air quality in the coming days.
