After the intervention of CM Mamata Banerjee, the Kolkata Police Musical band was allowed to enter the Raj Bhawan to perform during the Republic Day programme in Kolkata. The Governor emphasized that any changes to ceremonial practices should be pre-approved by the Chief of Staff.
