An Ahmedabad boy, aged four, has tested positive for human metapneumovirus, raising Gujarat's total cases to eight. The child is stable and being treated at a local hospital. This virus, related to RSV, causes cough, fever, and congestion, spreading through respiratory droplets and contact with contaminated surfaces or infected individuals.
